Three Little Pears

Well, the pomegranates at the store didn't look near as interesting as the one I've already cut up, so I decided to paint some pears I had lying around. One was kind of a mess and had to been thrown out afterwards, and another was a very nice snack.

Pears are much harder to paint than I'd expected!

Your backgrounds are as neat as the subject itself!

They might be hard to paint, but I wouldn't have guessed that from looking at yours. A snack of a pear sounds really good right now. Wish I had one.

Linda, I'm loving the texture of the colors you used. You make it look so easy.

LINDA!!! WOW OH WOW! Painterly and absolutely brilliantly done! The colors, the backgroun, shape, lighting -- stupendous! You've made these pears zing!

Great pears, great composition and another great background. Seriously - I've not seen you work so loosely in the background with watercolors. I think you are on to something here...
