Does anyone else see an unexpected theme developing here? I thought it was just about playing with color and availability of subject matter, but ... Paintings of Pomegranates, Pears, Paper cranes and now Persimmons...
Perhaps there will be a Parade of Petite Pumpkins next...

I know what Pattern it is...you were going through the alphabet and got stuck on Paint and Pears and Persimmons! And they are Perfect!
really beautiful! I say again, I'm loving this series!
I'd like to take a peek at that Parade of Petite Pumpkins please! Your pomegranates have certainly been a panoply of pleasing plump produce.
Linda -- I am LOVING your fruits -- and you always choose my favorites - poms and persimmons. We picked all the wild ones we could find -- and now I"m axious for our stores to have some! GRAND GRAND JOB!
Lin - I didn't realize that there WERE big persimmons like these until recently. I thought ALL persimmons were like those little wild ones. (The little wild ones have a nicer shape, in my book -- rounder and flatter -- more like a tangerine.)
:-)
You call this playing, wish I could play so easily. Great job!
Your series on anything beginning with the letter 'P' has been really wonderful! Petite pumpkins, those are great! I stayed at a B&B recently where the hostess made tiny candle holders for the table out of baby pumpkins you can see a photo of them on my Blog under "Weekend on Gabriola".
Can't wait to see more of your paintings!
I love this series! Pretty pears and pomegranates!
