Bluebird and chipmunk in the back yard. I started with quick line sketches, and then had to look up reference photos for colors (ain't Yahoo Image search great?!)

Love the chipmunk. Tell the cat to leave him alone. You said you used photo reference for color, but how did you get the bird and chipmunk to stay still long enough to draw them. (I can't even get the girls or DH to stay still that long)
