Another Peach


A quickly done little peach sketch. I didn't let the washes dry before proceeded to the next -- the peaches were turning brown before my eyes and they smelled so GOOD! Posted by Picasa

I would love a bite! If you placed that peach infront of me to paint, you'd be painting the table top because i would down that before it left your hand.

I forgot to say how sublime that violet background is with the orange, yellow, rosy peach. How's that for a complement? I mean, compliment. ;D

your grouping of peaches in the previous post is terrific but this close up view is really fantastic, the colors are just wonderful and your watercolor marks are just beautifully restrained but also perfectly describe the fruit, it looks luscious !

So fresh! That's what I love about watercolor... But, it's a tricky medium, so I've been avoiding it. Your work is beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration.
