Books: EDMWC

I could only take a few minutes to sketch the EDM challenge for this week -- draw a book. We're busy packing for vacation, and I have this stack of sketchbooks and watercolor pads sitting on the table, ready to go. We're going to the true wilderness and have a weight limit, so I have to trim down my supplies quite a bit more! Posted by Picasa

Beautiful drawing! I can't wait to see what you'll do while you're gone--how long will you be there? Wherever there is.

Thanks Joyce and Laura! We're not leaving just yet, it's just that there's so many "getting ready chores" that I have to start now. We'll be going to the Northern Woods in Canada for a fishing trip. No phone, no TV, no radio, no electricity ... you're pretty much on your own for a week! We'll see how much drawing I do ... it is one of those places where you kind of forget that you're supposed to do ANYTHING but sit in a boat and look for walleye. :-) As I said, we'll see!

It sounds wonderful! I've been recently longing to go the Gaspe Peninsula for looking, thinking, drawing.

Laura -- I had to google the Gaspe Pennisula -- it looks like a beautiful place! I'm adding it to my list of future vacation spots, with a notation about fly fishing and those truly charming towns. The photos I saw make it look like an artist's ideal retreat.

Oh great drawing! Is there nothing better than a pile of watercolor pads ready for a road trip?

Good grief! I've been hit by the spam patrol (see the above anonymous comments which have been deleted.) If this keeps up, I'll have to not allow anonymous comments and that would be a pain for all! Sheesh!
