Well, tomorrow in the VERY early a.m. we leave for our fishing trip. Finally! Why is it that four or five major things always come up in the two weeks just before vacation? Or is it that everyday life is that busy all the time, and we just don't notice?
Anyway, in the meanwhile, while looking under the bed for a suitcase I found this old watercolor that I did probably 15 years ago. I've never been able to decide if I like it or not -- I mean, I like it, but can't decide if it is hangable. It's kind of moody, don't you think?
Well -- I'm off to catch the big one and do as much drawing as I feel like! Be back soon!

Well done water color. Really moody...Looks like it could represent either armigeddon soon arriving or divine inspiration about to smote the reciepient.
Have fun fishin! (and painting/drawing too?)
Absolutely beautiful!

This is so beautiful. If you don't hang it I'm sure anyone else seeing it would. Moody? Sad? I find that there is something very beautiful in something very sad. Maybe I need analysis but I prefer sad pictures over happy ones (even though I tend to draw the happy ones). And the sky is wonderful. I'll tell you my secret fishing trick - I never bait the hook. I just couldn't stand the thought of catching anything. I just like sitting there with the pole in my hand.
wow. this is great! I really like the simplicity of the house and the fence in silhouette in combination with the bright light of the sky. Very nice.
Two words--Hang it.
i like your work. they are beautiful.
