Morning, Linda! I like this! So much detail!

I also enjoyed seeing the evolution of the magnolia. The process is amazing to me. (which reminds me that I need to get baxk to my own fledging attempts at sketching!)

WHAT A GORGEOUS PAINTING!!! I JUST LOVE QUEEN ANNE'S LACE AND ALWAYS FIND THEM DIFFICULT TO SKETCH BECAUSE OF THEIR WHITNESS.... I LOVE HOW YOU'VE DONE THIS, LINDA!! IT SO REMINDS ME OF A ROADSIDE ON A SUMMER'S DAY! BEAUTIFUL!

Thank you all! Queen Anne's lace has always been a favorite of mine, and I have decided that now, while it was in bloom, I'd take some time with it. Z, I wonder why yours isn't in bloom there? Ours has been blooming for several weeks, maybe even a month now! Anyway, there will probably be more litte sketches of this pretty weed! :-)

Hey, girl--you and I are on the white flower track together! This is a wonderful drawing---sometimes simplest really is best. Glad to see you back in commission. Now if we can just get Elaine/Monkeypaints jumpstarted ;D.

When I was little, we looked for Queen Anne's Lace that had a little deep purple spec in the center which was supposed to be good luck. Your work is beautiful! I've been trying like the dickens to get back to a regular posting and commenting mode since the big move to NY and new job...and now new, new job in NYC! Thanks for commenting on my self portrait!
