Humming Along

I've been BUSY AS A BEE lately!

On a new self-imposed "health program" of eating right (organic and natural), exercise, stress management, and getting extra sleep, and am feeling better than I have in years! Problem is, it is time consuming right now. BUT -- I'm finally getting back in the groove!

~~I'm back to painting with some projects in mind and in the works ~~
~~I have a possible / probable commission for a CP portrait ~~
~~ And, if you'll look at the photo, you might guess that I got a brand new toy! ~~

Thanks to you all for all your recent comments, support, inspiration, and encouragement!
New art to come soon!

Congrats on your healthy living program! Great that it is working!

Wow, that bee and flower are awesome. New camera? If you tell me you painted it, I'll flip!

:-D Thanks Lin and Teri! Teri, if I'd painted that, I'D be the one flipping! New camera -- one I've saved for for over a year. I sound like Gollum from the Tolkien books ... "yessss... it's mine, Precious, all ours, yessss my Precious, we finally gots it, we did ... "
:-D

I love your first photo of the bee and the flower.

Are you going to draw this beauty? New toys are nice, especially ones you have to wait for. Expectation is 1/2 the fun. Who am I kidding? When I want something I want it now.

Yay! New toys are wonderful, glad to know you have "stuff" in the works!

i admire what you have and are doing, Linda!
i should follow your example.
right now my blog is a type of lifeline to my center safety place in the midst of a confusing storm of that awful monster known by an assortment of awful names: "should" "must' "you have to"...and "we don't know what causes..."

i take inspriation and strength knowing you are doing such good things and making art!!

Linda - could you come and sort me out as well please! Good to hear you are having such success on the health and fitness front.

Now you've got the camera you have to buy the spare batteries(the total frustration when you go somewhere good and the camera dies after 4 shots!), the extra large memory card (you start taking so many more photos when you get somewhere good)etc etc etc. ;)

I'll be looking forward to seeing what sort of artwork comes out the other end - one way or the other.......

I always picture you as completely healthy, centered and full of elan---so now you're being that! What sort of camera is it, dear Linda, that makes such incredible photos? I'm so ready to see more of your artwork, but don't feel pressured or anything ;D.
xoxo,
L

That's excellent! I always try to eat organic as much as I can. I must agree it can be of extra work sometimes when all you want to do is open a can of soup.

Really nice photo.
